To those who love exercising, listening to music while exercising can provide a lot of benefits. It has been proven to provide motivation in finishing your workout to the best of your ability.
We have all been at a time when 90% of the workout is finished but it seems physically impossible to make it to the end especially when the workout involves a circuit or full cardio exercise.
Sometimes you just need that little extra push and motivation to finish. That’s where music comes in. While trying to lose a few vanity pounds, the waterproof iPod shuffle has really helped a lot of people.
Swimming is one of the ultimate cardio workout especially when you try enrolling to swimming classes in Aquastream. It is the best cardio workout to some people because it works every muscle and fiber in your body. With that being said, it is also one of the most intense and exhausting workouts since it involves your whole body.
When some people are swimming laps, they always use waterproof iPod filled with their favorite motivating songs to help get them through the tough part when they are almost done but feel exhausted and don’t think they can 100% complete the laps.
On some days that they forget their waterproof iPod, it has been much easier for them to just give up that day because they don’t have that extra motivation that keep them going. According to some swimmers, they notice that on some day when they do not have music, they find it hard to complete all the laps and it hinders the progress because there is not something that keep them going.
Even coaches recognize the mental and physical benefits of music for swim training. Kim Bierwert, who is the head coach at Smith College, states that while he does not personally care for music since he is not that in to it, he thinks it is very important for the way it lets swimmers to isolate themselves “from the pain associated with a race or training, or in some teams the drudgery of training.”
So even though you are the type of person who thinks that swimming is not beneficial which is why you are not of fond of listening to it, try incorporating it while you are working out or even while you are doing something important.
