The best music to grow plants

There has been a significant amount of studies suggesting the ability of music to improve plant growth in various categories.  From leaf size to flower color, different types of music prove to improve and benefit plants and their over all well-being. Music is composed of sound waves organized in certain configurations, it is said that these sound waves function like the wind and thus act like a natural stimulus to the plant.

Classical music is said to be effective for the growth of a baby in the womb, it is a favorite past time of some to lay in their bed carefully chosen from the best bed in a box 2019 and enjoy the peacefulness brought about by the music, but who knew that your are not the only one experiencing the solace of classical music, even your potted buddies do. It has been said that plants that listen to classical music have shown relative improvement in seed germination and leaf growth, as well as an improvement in color.

Another type of music that has been tested by researchers is Rock Music, rock music is said to deteriorate a plant – leaves are said to whither away and have more bright flowers, they are also said to form a circle away from the plant as if indicating their distaste for the types of music. Plants respond negatively to noise and loud sounds, maybe it is because of this that they respond negatively to rock music, perhaps the sound waves are too loud for them to handle – that is to say, although rock music may not prove to be beneficial to most plants it does not serve as a benchmark to dictate what kind of music is the best. After all music is a form of artistic work and the emotions embodied by each are different – different type of music enables us to enjoy different experiences.

Music is dependent on taste, one homeowner known as the “Plant lady” lets her plants listen to different kinds of music from, classical to even rock. Check out her apartment – her plants are thriving and well –so who are we to judge one type of music over the other, even plants have their own taste and own mood for what to listen to.
