Henry Riton and Ben Fat Trucker (n&eacture;e Rymer) are two stalwarts of London's exploding electro-rock scene. Separately, they each have long histories releasing records and DJing all over the world. This collaboration under the name Gucci Soundsystem has created a new and exciting partnership in the world of dance music. The duo's legendary London club night, called "Druzzis Baltimore Rave Club" has been running for four sweaty years and has included guests like Tiefschwarz, James Murphy, Andrew Weatherall, Ivan Smagge (Black Strobe), 2 Many DJ's, The Rapture, Erol Alkan, and Optimo. After cementing their reputation with remixes for Tiefschwarz and Soulwax, Riton and Rymer began to tour across Europe. Their debut solo record came out to rave reviews as a limited release on the Bugged Out label last year. James Murphy loved the single so much, it became an obvious choice for DFA's new Death From Abroad imprint. The re-released single now includes a stunning Joakim remix of "Acarpenter" on the B-side.
