1982 Live Evil saw the end of Black Sabbath's second up. Tensions among members were increasingly high, with singer Ronnie James Dio soon leaving the band and taking drummer Vinny Appice along with him on his solo adventure. Despite this turmoil, Live Evil presents the hard rock masters in great shape, excelling in their trademark doom metal sound and performing many of the early Ozzy era classics.
